Moray, one of our members, is in training to complete a 400 mile bike ride across
South Africa to raise funds for a charity called
“Regain” who work with
and support tetraplegics.

Paradox plays Eaton Bray
On Saturday 16th March local group, Paradox, will be playing live at Eaton Bray Village Hall, from 8pm onwards.
You can expect a lively selection of music covering many genres including rock, soul and country from the 1960s up to the current day.

Day Trip to Foulness Island
Eaton Bray & Edlesborough Lions are offering you a rare opportunity to visit this private island on the Essex coast on Saturday 9th June.

St Mary’s Village Carnival
Our first club event was at our local village carnival. This was a very well attended event
with many thousands of people walking past our stall. We were delighted to raised a total of £190.78. When you consider that this was almost entirely
from “50p a go games”, we are sure that we have been noticed by the community.

Club Formation Ceremony
For our club’s formation event we enjoyed a dinner at the Hotel:MK. The dinner was well attended by Lions from many other clubs
in the district. District Governor Andrew Allen inducted 5 members of our club as new Lions.

Medical Detection Dogs Presentation Night
We held an evening to present a cheque for £300 to the Medical Detection Dogs charity. Dr Claire Guest
gave an interesting talk on what the dogs do for people and how they do it.
