In September 2007 I went on another couse, this time in Salisbury. Once again, I stayed an extra day to do some sightseeing.
At the end of August 2007 I travelled to Copenhagen for a training course. I managed to do some sightseeing whilst I was there.
In August 2007 I stayed with some friends in their beach chalet at Calshot on the Solent. This was a great day out at the seaside with the added bonus of a fireworks display to mark the end of Cowes Week.
In late July 2007 a couple of friends and I visited the de Haviland Aviation Heritage Centre. There was much more to see at this museum than I expected and is well worth visiting if you are interested in aviation history, both civil and military.
In November 2006 I spent almost three weeks working in Austin, Texas. I took a trip to a windfarm my employer was constructing as well as some sightseeing in the city of Austin itself.
