In late July 2001 a friend and I travelled to Iceland. We flew into Reykjavík, travelled overland to Akureyri then visited the Arctic Circle by boat. After moving on to Mývatn we saw many waterfalls and geothermal attractions. After returning to Reykjavík we visited the Westman Islands and the south of Iceland.
